Ashton House is led by Registered Manager Bincy Mathew, overseeing both our Main nursing wing and dedicated dementia unit, Hazelwood.
Our dedicated team includes experienced Deputy Manager, Unit Managers, Registered Nurses, Team Leaders, Senior Care Staff, and Care Assistants. We maintain a strong nursing presence with four nurses on duty from 8am to 8pm and three overnight.
A typical shift involves a skilled team of three nurses and approximately 20 care assistants, supported by our ancillary staff including culinary experts, activity coordinators, housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative professionals.
We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Our staff actively pursue NVQ qualifications, and we offer regular training programs to enhance their skills and expertise.
Residents at Ashton House benefit from dedicated healthcare support. Our regular visits from a General Practitioner, in conjunction with specialist referrals as needed, ensure comprehensive medical attention.
For podiatric care, we offer regular chiropodist appointments, and other specialized services can be arranged upon request.
